Protect Honey Bees from Toxic Pesticides

Ban pesticides such as Bayer's Clothianidin, which are known to be highly toxic to honey bees and other pollinators. Clothianidin is already banned in a number of countries, including Germany, where Bayer is based. We urge the EPA to cancel Clothianidin as it conducts its review of the chemical, in keeping with its mandate not pose unreasonable adverse effects on the environment.

Why is this important?

Honey bees are the most economically valuable pollinator worldwide, and many high-value crops are entirely reliant upon them. Declining bee populations due to Colony Collapse, chemical contamination and invasive pests pose a serious threat to our pollinators and our greater food system.
