Last year, hundreds of representatives gathered at Uluru to hold a historic First Nations Convention. The result was an unprecedented call from First Nations Peoples for a constitutionally enshrined Voice to the Commonwealth Parliament. We feel deep shame that this invitation was dismissed by the Government. Polling suggests most Australians broadly support a First Nations Voice. We are among those supporters. The Uluru Statement from the Heart is fundamental to our country. We cannot move on to talk of a republic without honouring our First Nations Peoples with a constitutionally enshrined Voice.

why aren't they sending

As members of the [organization] community, we stand against Donald Trump’s racial and religious intolerance. Policies and rhetoric that directly target Latinos, Muslim-Americans and others threaten the basic freedoms and safely of members of our own community and our ability to do our work. They are also an assault on our most deeply held values of our country. As a community, we stand with those who are most at risk of the scapegoating and policies that will tear families apart and make it harder to live and work with freedom and dignity in this country. An attack on one member of our community is an attack on all of us. Donald Trump is not who America is, and he is not who [organization] is.

Liverpool's rentals are dangerous and some are not even fit to live in. Many renters are afraid to speak out about poor conditions, for fear of losing their housing. This condemns many to a life of stress, stuck in temporary accommodation and constant moving.
